Caroline Polachek has finally dropped her highly-anticipated album "Desire I Want To Turn Into You" and many fans have been wondering who's her current boyfriend as her latest record revolves around the topic of love; find out more about the pop star's partner, Matt Copson, below.

According to Distractify, the "Welcome to My Island" hitmaker has been taking over the music industry since rebranding to her birth name a few years ago.

Since then, she managed to strike several collaborations and achievements like teaming up with Charli XCX and Christine and the Queens with "New Shapes," ghostwriting for Elon Musk, and touring around the world.

On Valentine's day 2023, The musician dropped her latest album "Desire I Want To Turn Into You" featuring 12 new songs, including her previously released singles "Billions," "Sunset," "Bunny Is A Rider," and more.

According to a previous report published by The New Yorker Magazine, the 37-year-old alternative/indie singer has been in a relationship with Matt Copson. Her boyfriend is a visual artist and they have been collaborating professionally for nearly four years now.

Even though it is the only available information about their romantic connection at the time of this writing, it appears that their bond is getting stronger as they continue to collaborate on the creative aspects of Polachek's visuals.

The outlet noted that the couple had been seeing each other since 2017. Their connection began when Copson worked on the visuals of her debut album and combined it with his personal art style which is apparent in the musician's promotions, photos, videos, and more.

In other art ventures, the visual artist works in an art gallery in Santa Rosa, California.

Most fans know that before Caroline Polachek entered a new relationship with Copson, she was previously married to Ian Drennan in 2015. However, their marriage didn't last, leading to their divorce two years later.

In her profile with the magazine, the "So Hot You're Hurting My Feelings" songstress said her mother disapproved of her relationship with her ex-husband and some of her friends were skeptical of him.

Since divorcing her former partner, Polachek was able to focus on her music and connect with her sound on a deeper perspective.

"I was feverishly compelled by the music, and in love with it," she said at the time.
