Rather than resorting to physical altercations, controversial rapper Kanye West has decided to take a more diplomatic approach when dealing with the paparazzi.

On Tuesday afternoon, he was spotted at the Los Angeles County Sheriff's West Hollywood Station filing a report regarding an altercation he had been involved in with paparazzi recently.

Sources close to law enforcement confirmed this information with TMZ, who were able to obtain pictures of the "All of the Lights" rapper during his visit.

On Tuesday, he requested the paparazzi, asking them not to take pictures of him and his family.

Having reported the incident at the station, Kanye, who legally changed his name to Ye, now awaits the results of the Sheriff's department's investigation into what appears to have been an altercation between two parties after the paparazzi reportedly challenged him to a "fight." They would examine further evidence to determine whether or not there is anything more to it.

Kanye West Battery Investigation

It was also reported that Kim Kardashian's ex-husband is currently under investigation for battery due to a heated argument with a woman, unclear if she was a photographer or not, last month. The altercation is said to have become physical as the rapper allegedly reached into the woman's car and threw away her phone.

In response to an emergency call last month, the Ventura County Sheriff's Office went to the Sports Academy in Thousand Oaks.

Upon arrival, they were presented with footage that depicted Kanye West allegedly taking hold of another woman's phone. Although the "Donda" rapper was not present at the scene when police officers arrived, investigations into this incident are still underway.

The Yeezy mogul was caught in the middle of a confrontation that was captured on video by TMZ. In the clip, the dad-of-four is seen standing in the street facing off with a woman. He advised her to stop taking pictures of him, and when she replied that he was a celebrity, he took matters into his own hands by snatching her phone and throwing it to the ground.

Elsewhere in the video, Kanye is driving up to a group of paparazzi filming his behavior.

Kanye's Rage

This wasn't the first time Kanye wanted privacy. Page Six reported that the Grammy award-winning musician had already asked to be left alone before this scene.

"Everybody needs to stop when I see my kids. If I need to see my kids, you can't photograph me. It's called human rights," he told the paparazzi.

Kanye and his alleged new wife, Bianca Censori, were out on a public street when they encountered an onslaught of paparazzi. With no words spoken, Kanye glared at them before accelerating away in his car.
