Bruce Willis' FTD diagnosis is cruel, but it reportedly positively impacts his family.

The family delivered a heartbreaking update about Bruce Willis' health, confirming in a statement (via Los Angeles Times) that the actor-singer's health condition progressed. In the statement, his wife Emma Heming Willis, ex-wife Demi Moore and daughters Rumer, Scout, Tallulah, Mabel, and Evelyn, revealed they received a more specific diagnosis after starting his battle in the spring of 2022.

Per Willis' loved ones, the frontotemporal dementia (FTD) diagnosis is "painful," but it brought relief to them as they now have a clear diagnosis and knowledge of what he has been going through.

Amid the challenge, a source told People that the 67-year-old "Save the Last Dance For Me" singer's family "is all closer than ever" following Thursday revelation.

As for Willis' wife of 13 years, she now receives the biggest support system she "could not be more grateful for."

"She is trying to make as many positive memories for them as she can," the insider said. "She wants them to remember Bruce as an amazing, fun dad. She wants them to have the best memories of him."

His blended family has been showing support publicly since disclosing his aphasia diagnosis.

Although his condition worsened, the "Die Hard" star received positive news as his eldest daughter, Rumer, announced she is expecting her first baby with Derek Richard Thomas. Willis will become a first-time grandparent upon her daughter's delivery.

After the pregnancy announcement, the actor was said to be happy about becoming a grandfather.
