The 2023 NAACP Image Awards or the 54th Annual National Association for the Advancement of Colored People Image Awards Virtual Experience Ceremony already took place yesterday, Feb. 20, 2023.

Actor and Musician Khleo Thomas was the host for the 2023 NAACP Image Awards' Virtual Experience.

More than 80 categories will be presented throughout the week-long event in celebration and recognition of the performances of people of color in the media in the past year.

Echo Kellum, Jotaka Eaddy, and Crystal Renee Hayslett appeared in the 2023 NAACP Image Awards' Virtual Experience.

Deadline reports that Queen Latifah will be hosting the 54th NAACP Image Awards live telecast on Saturday, Feb. 25, 2023.

54th NAACP Image Awards presenters will be "Abbott Elementary" actress Janelle James, trailblazer Issa Rae, singer/actress Janelle Monae, Marvel actor Jonathan Majors, Emmy-nominated actress and activist Kerry Washington, and even Emmy-winning actresses Sheryl Lee Ralph and Zendeya, among many others.

Some of the nominees for the 54th NAACP Image Awards for film are "The Woman King" and "Black Panther: Wakanda Forever," while "Black-ish" and "Abbott Elementary '' lead the television nominations.

Meanwhile, the Entertainer of the Year category is also a stiff pack. "Abbott Elementary" creator Quinta Brunson, "Woman King" actress Viola Davis, Oscar-nominated actress Angela Bassett, Grammy-winning singer Mary J. Blige, and Golden Globe-winning Zendaya are vying for the title.

The 54th NAACP Image Awards will be aired on BET on Saturday, Feb. 25, 2023, at 8:00 p.m. It would be simulcasted on various channels, including CBS, MTV, VH1, Paramount Network, and CMT, among many others.
