David Grohl just demonstrated why he is a genuine rockstar.

The 54-year-old Foo Fighters drummer went to a homeless shelter in Los Angeles, namely The Hope Mission, and cooked for 500 individuals, including 450 homeless people.

He arrived about midnight last Wednesday, bearing some sleeping gear and a large meat smoking.

Dave labored 16 hours creating coleslaw, pig butt, beans, brisket, and ribs, according to TMZ.

The healthy act has been lauded a "noble effort" on social media.

"Even if I don't like Dave Grohl much, he seems to have a really decent moral compass," one individual said.

"What a wonderfully amazing thing for #DaveGrohl to do. Homeless persons deserve special attention as much as any of us, and Dave did that for them," said another.

Dave Grohl took a break in the parking lot during the long hours. They also claimed that Dave paid for the whole expense of the feast.
