Lisa Marie Presley's relatives are preparing to go to war over her will.

Michael Lockwood has also asked for the opportunity to be present in court for his twin children.

According to TMZ, the 61-year-old father want to represent twins Harper and Finley, 14, in relation to their mother's multi-million dollar trust fund.

He asked a judge to appoint him as "guardian ad litem," giving him legal authority to represent his daughters.

This followed Lisa Marie's death from cardiac arrest on January 12, at the age of 54.

She had taken out two insurance policies, each for $25 million and $10 million, and these policies have been a major subject of contention for her family.

Priscilla Presley, the late renowned singer's mother and grandma of Lisa Marie's 33-year-old Riley Keough, has handled her will at the age of 77.

According to reports, Lisa Marie removed Priscilla as trustee and replaced her with her eldest daughter a few years before her death. Lisa Marie's will contains rights to the Graceland estate as well as a 15% share in Elvis Presley Enterprises.

Lisa Marie's 2016 change to her will will have long-term consequences since it removed Priscilla Presley as executor and listed her two adult children, Riley and Benjamin Keough, as her sole heirs.

Unfortunately, Benjamin committed himself in 2020, leaving Riley as the sole heir - but Priscilla has chosen to contest the amendment.

According to sources, the friction between Riley and Priscilla has raised the possibility that Lisa Marie's signature on the paper was faked. This is the latest family feud since Lisa Marie's death.

Despite the fact that Lisa Marie had harbored grudges against her mother for the previous seven years, her buddy stated that she had never discussed any business with Priscilla. In truth, she intended to divide her inheritance among her four children, giving each 5%.

This idea, however, did not satisfy Priscilla, who desired more control over the issue.

According to individuals close to Lisa Marie, she believed her mother, Priscilla, frequently supported Michael in the fight and that Riley, her eldest daughter, was always on her mother's side. According to the source, Lisa Marie was even more irritated when Priscilla and Michael attended Elvis' burial together.

"Lisa didn't want to have anything to do with her mom," one unidentified friend explained.

"She had been alienated from Priscilla for the previous seven to eight years, and they only chatted when they had no other choice."
