Fans have been exceptionally patient and yet still emotionally invested in every update that the 'Wicked' movie has to offer. Both Ariana Grande fans and Wicked fans are waiting for every update on the singer's Instagram account.

Jeff Goldblum, the actor set to portray the Wizard of Oz, teased Jimmy Kimmel about a recent update on the film's production.

Ariana Grande, Cynthia Erivo 'Wicked' Photos

Ariana Grande, who will be playing Glinda, and Cynthia Erivo, who will be playing Elphaba, posted new photos of the two of them together on Instagram.

The carousel of photos not just excited the fans of one of the longest-running musicals on Broadway but also showed the public the sisterhood bond that the two actresses developed during the production.

In one of the photos, Grande sported what seemed to be a polka-dotted dress, while Erivo rocked an above-the-knee plaid dress with long sleeves. Other photos also show the two soon-to-be witches holding hands and a cute shoe-fie mirroring their characters - Grande wearing pink Ugg boots and Erivo in black sneakers and olive cargo.

"two of my most favorite girls," the "West Side Story" actress Rachel Zegler commented.

"i've literally can't think of anything to say other than how much i just adore this duo," a fan shared.

"beautiful ladies! counting down the days," Mimi Cuttrell, a renowned fashion stylist, posted.

Since the production started, news and updates on the well-loved production have been kept under wraps by its director, Jon M. Chu.
