Premiering as a segment on James Corden's "The Late Late Show With James Corden," "Carpool Karaoke" has ultimately become a sensation worldwide. It has pooled various artists together, and even solo artists jam out their hits and their own favorite songs with the Emmy-winning host.
In 2017, "Carpool Karaoke" was adapted into a full-blown series by Apple TV+, and it has since gathered actors, singers, and celebrities from various platforms to jam out on their own in their private karaoke session on wheels.
'Carpool Karaoke' New Season 2023
According to Variety, a season fresh off new celebrity pairings for "Carpool Karaoke" new season is upon us!
The new set of episodes of the "Carpool Karaoke" new season 2023 will be released on Apple TV on Jun. 23, 2023.
Usually, every episode features only two artists or acts, but according to the publication, three of the eight "Carpool Karaoke" new season episodes will feature three acts together in one episode.
Additionally, some of the pairings in the "Carpool Karaoke" new season are to promote their upcoming shows and new collaborations.
For example, "Community" actors Danny Pudi and Allison Brie will be teaming up once again as they star in their new rom-com "Somebody That I Used To Know." In a new trailer for the "Carpool Karaoke" new season 2023, Brie and Pudi sang the Gotye song of the same title in their upcoming episode.
Aside from this, Punk rock artists Avril Lavigne and YUNGBLUD will be teaming up once again behind the wheels and into the steering wheel, performing a slew of their hits and probably teasing their upcoming new song - "I'm a Mess," which they released last January 2023.
