Hayley Williams looked back at Paramore's previous paths on their self-titled album's 10th anniversary.

Founded in 2004, Paramore originally had Williams, Josh Farro, Zac Farro, and Jeremy Davis before Jason Bynum joined. Currently, the band only has its original vocalist, Zac (who rejoined in 2017), and Taylor York, who became the band's guitarist after Davis was reinstated as bassist.

Ten years ago, the band reportedly questioned its existence when it had to record its 2013 self-titled album.

Released in April 2013 through Fueled by Ramen, "Paramore" served as the first album with Josh and the only Paramore album without Zac. It also became Davis' final album before his exit in 2015.

To mark the album's 10th anniversary on Wednesday, Williams penned a heartfelt post on Paramore's Twitter page.

The singer recalled creating the music after losing two members of the band at that time - brothers Josh and Zac.

"10 years ago, we put out a record that took a lot of guts and self-determination to make. Mainly because after losing 2 members of the band [Josh and Zac Farro] there was so much discourse around whether or not the band could make anything worthwhile - let alone stay together," she said, hinting at their almost break up."

Fortunately, Paramore continued striving until it welcomed Zac back in 2017. She expressed how fulfilling it feels to look back from where the band is now and relieve the times they almost quit - but didn't.

Hayley Williams Thanks Fans, for Supporting Paramore

Williams and York took the risk when they recorded the self-titled album as it introduced the reformed and more liberated version of Paramore.

Fans, however, did not only accept their new image but also celebrated their newfound path. With that, Williams wholeheartedly expressed her gratitude to them for supporting them and allowing them to have the creative risk.

"Paramore" served as the band's first and only album to reach No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart's all-genre. It contained some of the all-time favorites, including "Ain't It Fun" and "Still Into You."

Through the album, Williams ultimately became the first woman to win the best rock song category at the 57th annual Grammy Awards ceremony since Alanis Morissette in 1999.
