Just after causing a ruckus in the music industry, an anonymous user released yet again a new AI-generated "collaboration," this time it's with Bad Bunny and Rihanna.

According to Billboard, the song was uploaded on SoundCloud, YouTube, and TikTok under the username "Ghostwrider777," and was titled "Por Que."

Many suspect that the new user handle is the same uploader of the viral Drake and The Weeknd collab, "Heart On My Sleeve."

There has been an influx of AI-generated songs-with the two songs recently released are just a drop in the bucket-and it has been causing some worries among the key players in the music industry.

Will AI-generated music dominate over the original singers and their songs?

'Por Que'

The reason why people suspect that "Ghostwrider777" is the same user as "Ghostrider" is because of a very cryptic and ominous message that was posted alongside the AI song.

"They tried to shut us down," it read. "I used AI to make a Bad Bunny song ft. Rihanna. This video will be removed in 24 hours, they tried to quiet my brother. But we will prevail."

There has been a mix of reactions from fans following the release of these AI-generated songs; while some seem to be pretty happy to hear the voice of their favorite singers "collaborating," others have also begun to think that the songs are "creepy."

"What is going on. Wake me up from this infinity dream. What about our jobs, our identity, exciting and yet terrifying," a Twitter user wrote.

"Strong uncanny valley vibes. Not saying that it won't get there but right now AI-generated music is miles off the target for anything more demanding than a background soundtrack for malls and elevators," another added.

Legitimate?

Even music streaming platform giant, Spotify, seems to be very concerned about the sudden growth and interest of audiences in AI-generated songs.

"I think the AI pushback from the copyright industry or labels and media companies, and it's really around really important topics and issues like name and likeness, what is an actual copyright, who owns the right to something where you upload something and claim it to be Drake, it's really not and so on. Those are legitimate concerns," said Daniel Ek, the CEO of Spotify.

As of this writing, "Por Que" has been taken down on most social media sites.
