Ice Nine Kills are set to embark on a tour in the coming months and fans are excited to see their favorite band perform. However, the group recently confirmed that one of their members will not be joining them on their series of concerts due to a health woe; what happened?

Taking to his official YouTube channel, guitarist Dan Sugarman shared a video to address his health condition, saying he discoverted a lump on his neck and he needed to leave the group in order for him to recover and focus on his health.

In the clip, the musician said the band was finalizing the process of him returning to touring not too long ago when he noticed a lump on his neck.

After undergoing a "bunch of biopsies," MRIs, and many tests, he received a phone call that "nobody ever wants to hear."

Although the guitarist didn't reveal his exact medical condition, he noted that it is a thyroid-related issue, and he assured fans that there's a plan and he's ready to continue healing with his loved ones.

"it's becoming apparent that I need to sit home and sit out-at least on the very beginning-of a tour of a lifetime, literally the tour of my dreams," he added. (via Metal Sucks)
