Stephen Pearcy expressed his disappointment after Motley Crue's Stadium Tour did not consider Ratt an opener.

Ratt's members have been embroiled in different issues in the past few years, breaking the band's classic era lineup. But its frontman believed they could have gotten back together if only Motley Crue selected the band as its opener for its The Stadium tour.

Stephen Pearcy Disappointed Due to Non-Invitation to Motley Crue 2023 Tour

Motley Crue officially started its world tour 2023 alongside Def Leppard, which serves as the band's opener at The Stadium tour. It follows its successful summer 2022 tour with the same band.

During an interview with Bravewords, Pearcy was asked about his thoughts if Ratt was selected to join Motley Crue in its tour. According to the singer, his band had plans to tour in 2020 before COVID-19 became a global pandemic. However, it did not happen after the emergency health problem crippled the industries.

Although Ratt could have joined Motley Crue in its 2023 The Stadium Tour, the band moved forward with its frequent collaborator instead.

"We should've been invited," he said, expressing his disappointment. "That might've gotten us back together, but no."

Pearcy said he knows there will be another Motley Crue-Def Leppard tour; however, the singer admitted to being the only one out there "ratting and rolling."

The 2022 The Stadium Tour became one of the year's biggest touring events, according to Billboard. The tour - which featured Motley Crue, Def Leppard, Poison, and Joan Jett - sold 1.3 million tickets and garnered $173. 4 million in sales.

Ratt Reunion Not Happening?

Debuted in 1976, Ratt has been on and off the spotlight until it announced its hiatus again in 2022.

There had been rumors that the band would reunite with its three surviving classic members, but the singer dismissed it previously. Pearcy initially said that he would rather perform solo than have a band with him and one bass player.

The frontman said he would love to make one final Ratt album with the original members as he wished to continue only with them.

"That's not what Ratt was. Ratt was Crosby, Pearcy, DeMartini, Bobby and Juan, and so be it," he said. "I'd rather give a bit of integrity to the band, because it was a great rock band, and just continue doing what I do. You can't beat a dead horse or try to bullsh*t people."
