In light of recent claims of a hostile atmosphere while filming "The Kelly Clarkson Show," Kelly Clarkson has spoken out publicly about the situation.

On Friday, May 12, a storm of controversy surrounded renowned singer and talk show host after reports surfaced from on-set workers that producers and senior staff had created a "miserable" atmosphere, with one individual claiming to be "traumatized" by their experience.

In a recent piece by Rolling Stone, ten former employees of the famous daytime TV show anonymously shared their experiences working there.

The article mentioned that the "Because of Your" singer was well-regarded yet unaware of the "toxic environment" she had inadvertently created on set.

The team members were said to be frequently subjected to the "bullying and intimidation" of those around them, with no assistance from human resources when they tried to report such behavior.

The latest report highlighted a former staff member's experience with the organization, which almost caused them to change their career path.

"It was so overwhelming that I felt like it had traumatized me," they confessed to the publication.

"To be honest, it completely put me off from ever wanting to work during the day again."

Taking to Instagram, the three-time Grammy winner sought to address these allegations head-on.

Kelly described the reported conduct of her senior staff members as "unacceptable."

The "Since U Been Gone" singer wrote, "In my 20 years in the entertainment industry, I've always led with my heart. I love my team at The Kelly Clarkson Show, and to find out that anyone is feeling unheard and/or disrespected on this show is unacceptable."

She continued, "I have always been, and will continue to be, committed to creating and maintaining a safe and healthy environment at TKCS."

"As we prepare for a move to the East Coast, I am more committed than ever to ensuring that not only our team is moving but also our new team in New York is comprised of the best and kindest in the business."

But hours after addressing it, fans ripped the former "American Idol" star for promoting new music shortly after the drama.

Despite the recent reports of a toxic work environment on her talk show, fans of the singer-songwriter and megastar are still disappointed she chose to promote new music.

One social media user expressed their worries, writing, "This is extremely concerning, honestly."

"Are you going to address what's happening with your show? The toxic environment amongst the producers? The potential WGA violations due to producers writing your episodes?"

In response, the host shared a Friday afternoon Instagram post about her forthcoming single - yet ignoring the underlying issues that had been brought up.

A plea was made to the talk show host, imploring them not to become the next Ellen DeGeneres.

This came on the heels of Ellen's titular talk show's end in May last year due to reports of a toxic workplace atmosphere. The Twitter user said, "It is essential that this issue be addressed before it reaches a similar point."

On Instagram, Kelly Clarkson shared that a new song, "My Favorite Kind of High," is being released and that her upcoming album, "Chemistry," is coming out on May 19.
