Ted Nugent has been the talk of social media since he made controversial comments last week which led to a concert venue canceling his show. More recently, the musician added another tour date and claimed that the public can't cancel him.

Taking to his "Nightly Nuge" show, the musician revealed that his farewell tour is "selling out left and right," before adding more controversial comments.

He then shared his thoughts about his canceled Birmingham concert, saying, "I think there were six snakes - they were serpents - that protested...they actually canceled the concert in Birmingham." (via i-95 Rocks)

The musician later noted that he booked a new gig an hour later and he will earn more money in that show.

"I booked another gig for more money across the border in Mississippi. So when you mess with Uncle Ted, you lose," he said.

Speaking about his canceled concert, he considers it as an act of "the lunatic fringe" and later noted that he couldn't be canceled.

Ted Nugent Alabama Show Canceled

In early reports, the country singer was initially set to perform at Avondae Brewing Company in Birmingham, Alabama, on July 18, 2023.

However, the concert venue amassed negative comments from the public as they were called out for supporting the musician despite his controversial comments regarding the transgender community.

Before tickets became available for purchase, the venue then decided to cancel the concert after hearing the "concerns" from the public.

"In conjunction with our partners, have taken the necessary steps to to cancel the Ted Nugent concert scheduled for July 18," they announced on social media.

Ted Nugent Denies Allegations

Elsewhere on his show, he noted that there have been similar things that happened throughout his professional life because he stands up for "God, family, and country."

He later denied the allegations of homophobia and racism, saying that he has gay friends and they "snuggle." He also claimed that he is "black" and all of the things he was accused of were "100% false."

Nugent also noted that the venue cancelling on him is "too funny for words" and those who were not in favor of his personal views are the "dumbest creatures" that he have ever "slithered."

As of this writing, the Avondale Brewery is the only venue that canceled his show. The musician is set to go on a farewell tour starting in July.
