Maisie Smith insists she has confirmed her relationship with Max George is not for the cameras, as they move in together after a nine-month courtship.
The 21-year-old former "EastEnders" actress and the 34-year-old The Wanted star have been scrutinized for their 13-year age difference romance, but Maisie insists their relationship is permanent.
The "Strictly Come Dancing" contestant recently moved in with her boyfriend and disclosed that they have spent a month relaxing in their new home, enjoying some quality time together after a hectic few months of work. In a new interview, Maisie addressed the criticism of their relationship, stating that whenever one is in a new relationship, people have a lot to say. However, they have been together for a while and have proven that our affection is genuine. She added that she has never been happier than she is right now.
Maisie Smith has been starring as Fran in "Strictly Ballroom: The Musical" for the past few months.
Regarding their downtime, she stated that Max and he sat at home doing nothing for a solid month. She added that she felt she deserved it, as her profession was physically demanding. They both agreed to relax, take their minds off of everything, and appreciate their new home together.
In Instagram photos from last week, Maisie Smith posed in a red dress on New York's Broadway, looking absolutely stunning. The actress wore the off-shoulder satin minidress with a side thigh slit.
She paired the dress with a pair of sheer black hosiery with intricate patterning at the top, as well as a pair of red bow-adorned heels to complement the dress.
Maisie Smith sported a white faux fur coat, an elegant pearl necklace, and gold earrings. As she posed on the street in New York City, she wore an abundance of makeup to accentuate her beautiful features.
The singer shared the hilarious photo of the former soap sensation on his Instagram Story. She fell asleep with her mouth wide open while wearing a vibrant pink zip-up sweatshirt and heavy makeup.
In August of last year, it was discovered that Max and Maisie were covertly dating after they were spotted kissing on a flight. Max's separation from his on-and-off fiancée Stacey Giggs, 43, who was previously married to footballer Ryan Giggs, was announced just days earlier.
Max and Maisie were rumored to have become close during the Strictly Come Dancing live tour, following their 2020 appearances on the program. Maisie recently dismissed concerns regarding the 13-year age difference between her and her boyfriend Max, stating that she is a "consenting 21-year-old woman."
The celebrity is head over heels for the singer, and the couple does not note their age difference.

Max began to discuss his struggles with fame and the impact Tom's demise had on him as the group traversed their fourth day in total darkness. Max revealed that Tom's wife, Kelsey, contacted him to inform him of the diagnosis. His voice trembling with emotion, Max revealed that he first learned of the diagnosis from Kelsey and could not comprehend what was happening.
At the time, he said he probably would not be able to move forward.
"I don't think I'll ever be okay with it, you know," the singer added.
"One of the last things I said to him was - I thanked him for making my life so much better than what it ever could have been, you know, like that whole journey through being in the band. He was my best friend."
