03 Greedo finally squashed a five-year beef with J. Cole after calling the rapper's music "trash."

According to reports, a public apology was issued over the weekend.

"Dea J. Cole,' 03 Greedo began. "I was 103% inaccurate about you being [trash]. You kill every [f**king] feature. So I'd like to take my 2018 statements [back]."

He then declared that the "She Knows" rapper is "top tier," and admitted that he was simply blinded by his own prejudice which led to his 2018 comments.

"I was just trying to express myself, believing n***as with street images don't get counted as lyricists."

Who is J. Cole

J. Cole, born Jermaine Lamarr Cole, is a multifaceted artist who has experience and success in rapping, singing, songwriting, record producing, and more.

His debut album "Cole World: The Sideline Story" catapulted him straight up the music charts. It debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200, and put him on every music lover's map.

He is beloved and idolized by his fellow artists and rappers, which is understandable. After all, every single album he has released so far has peaked at No. 1 on the music charts.

"The Off-Season," his sixth studio album was released back in 2021, and a follow-up, "The Fall Off," is yet to be dropped.

According to reports, these days, J. Cole is gearing up for a new music release.

"Oh, bro, I'm super comfortable with the potential of being done with this sh*t," the rapper said. "But I'm never going to say, 'Oh, this is my last album.' ... Because I never know how I'm going to feel two years, three years, four years down the line, 10 years down the line, but please believe, I'm doing all this work for a reason."

Criticism

When 03 Green first criticized J. Cole and his music five years ago, fans were definitely taken aback.

"I don't like anything from J. Cole, whether his album is coming out or not," the rapper said in an interview with VladTV. "I didn't even know that n-gga was dropping an album, to be real.

"I saw some news and saw J. Cole name and I got mad - I always get mad. I hate that n***a music. I don't hate him personally, I wouldn't like beat him up or try to start something. [His music] is trash."

It was definitely weird to hear someone call a No. 1 album trash, but it was his opinion, and it seems like it has definitely changed over the years.
