It has been three years since Selena Gomez released an album, and fans are getting worried that the singer slash actress slash beauty mogul has traded her music career in for something more exciting and lucrative.

However, the "Lose You to Love Me" singer reassured fans that that is not the case; she shared pictures of herself in a recording studio in Paris.

"Don't worry guys, it's coming," Gomez wrote. "Ever from Paris."

There is no word on whether the singer's upcoming release will be a single or if she's gearing up for a new album, however, whatever it is, fans are still hopeful and grateful that she is finally back making music.

New Album: Title, Release Date

As of this writing, there actually is no word if Gomez is working on a new album, there also are no details about the release date.

Although it should be noted that regardless of what Gomez has in store for her fans, it is going to be a banger.

After all, her last music release, "Calm Down" with Rema, has become one of the biggest crossovers with the Afrobeats genre in music in recent years.

Selena Gomez' Greatest Hits-So Far

As per Billboard, the collab song has wormed its way into people's music playlists and has earned a spot in the Billboard Hot 100 chart, making it the highest-charting hit from an Afrobeats musician.

Released in September last year, the song was received well enough, but it definitely had a slow start. Over the months, it eventually generated more attention after going viral on social media.

"Whenever a song does this well this late into its run, the answer is almost always radio-related, first and foremost," explained Andrew Unterberger of Billboard. "Radio was slower to embrace "Calm Down" than streaming audiences."

Other songs that have piqued listeners' interests are from Gomez' 2020 album "Rare," which produced the hit singles "Lose You to Love Me," "Look at Her Now," and "Rare."

The reason behind the long wait for music releases is mostly because the singer is busy filming the comedy-drama series "Only Murders in the Building," as well as her cooking series "Selena + Chef."

Aside from that, Gomez got her hands will on Rare Beauty. The beauty brand is doing amazing, and constantly releasing and launching and adding new collections to its well-received products.
