Duff McKagan, popularly known for being a member of Guns N' Roses, will be releasing his solo album later this year and his collaborators are star-studded! Find out the featuring artists below.

According to NME, the musician, who became a part of GNR in 1985, is set to drop his solo studio album featuring 11 tracks.

Some of the collaborators he worked with for the record were Slash from his original band, Iggy Pop, and Jerry Cantrell of Alice in Chains.

The outlet noted that his upcoming song with Iggy Pop would be a full-circle moment for him as they previously worked together and McKagan even became a part of the musician's tour as a member of his live band.

Duff McKagan Solo Album Release Date

The musician's third solo album titled "Lighthouse" will be available for streaming on major music platforms like Apple Music and Spotify starting on October 20, 2023, Friday.

In addition to it being available online, it will also come in different cariations like CD, Deluxe CD, photo print, black vinyl, deluxe vinyl in different colors, cassette, and many more.

Each merchandise comes with lithographs, a guitar pick, sticker, and a booklet.

Speaking about the album's theme, the musician described his record as the "crashing, the cresting waves, the falling through of all that surrounds you."

He urged fans to find their own "lighthouse" as it is a "beacon swirling in the darkness" to give them love, laughter, nurture, and more.

Despite gearing up for the release of his third studio album under his solo name, Duff McKagan is still a part of Guns N' Roses.

The band remains active this year and is currently on tour. Their next show would be at the Grasspop Metal Meeting in Dessel this June 15, 2023.

They are also set to take the stage of the British Summer Time Festival or BST in Hyde Park, London. They will be accompanied by supporting acts including Larkin Poe, The Darkness, and The Pretenders.
