In celebration of Father's Day, Jennifer Lopez took to Instagram to post an appreciation message for her husband, Ben Affleck.

The post included a series of pictures- the highlight being a stunning mirror selfie of the "Batman v. Superman" actor flaunting his impressive abs.

The heartfelt caption read "Daddy Appreciation Post. Happy Father's Day, Papa. And Happy Father's Day to all the amazing Papas out there!! We love you and appreciate you more than you will ever know."

The "Maid In Manhattan" actress recently dazzled her followers when she posted a lovely montage of herself and the "Gone Girl" actor on Instagram.

After getting married in July 2022, Ben became a stepfather to JLo's twins, 15-year-old Max and Emme, born during her marriage with ex-husband Marc Anthony.

Ben is also a proud father of three, whom he shares with ex-wife Jennifer Garner. His eldest daughter, Violet, is 17 years old and is followed by Seraphina, who just turned 14, and Samuel, at 11.

JLo wasn't expecting the reaction she received from her fans when she shared a heartfelt Father's Day tribute to her husband.

The post was met with negative comments, labeling it as "weird" and "cringe." One user even humorously remarked that they thought they had mistakenly opened the Grindr app.

Another person expressed their confusion by saying, "But this post is somewhat cringe."

A third person commented that it was an odd way to show appreciation for a father on Father's Day: "Why would you post a shower pic of your husband? That's appreciating him as a dad? Weird."

On the other hand, supporters of Jennifer couldn't understand why she didn't express affection for her ex-husband Mark Anthony who is also the father of her children.

A confused fan asked: "Why don't you give credit to the father of your kids? After all, it was none other than Mark Anthony who brought them into this world."

Another social media user urged, "It wouldn't hurt to at least recognize the actual dad of your children rather than all these men that fade in and out of their lives!"

Commenters were divided on "The Mother" actress' post - some leaped to her defense and questioned why anyone would expect her to share photos of her partner's children.

"These comments are absurd," they wrote, "she's appreciating him as a person and father, so why should she be posting his kids?"
