Madonna did not like the idea of postponing her Celebration Tour despite being rushed to a hospital and getting intubated due to a serious bacterial infection, a report claimed.

The highly-anticipated Celebration Tour of Madonna was set to kick off in Vancouver on July 15 before her supposed performances in more European and North American cities until January 2024. She also released the tour's announcement video in which she expressed her excitement to finally offer her fans the show they have been looking forward to.

The plans, however, ended up being scrapped for now due to Madonna's health issue.

How Madonna Reacted Over Celebration Tour Postponement

After Madonna's discharge from the hospital, a report from Mirror UK revealed how the "Back That Up To The Beat" hitmaker responded to her hospitalization before her Celebration Tour.

According to the news outlet, the pop diva "protested" after her admission to a medical facility, where she spent days in the intensive care unit due to her fears about her world tour.

The unnamed source said, "[Madonna] was metaphorically kicking and screaming [after being rushed to a hospital] as she protested the decision to send her there."

She went back to her New York City residence via private ambulance after her hospital discharge, with other reports revealing that she is doing okay but remains under medical care. She is also making sure to follow doctors' orders despite the claims that her physicians and close relatives are worried she might not take her health into consideration and push through with her tour as soon as possible.

Madonna's Latest Update After Hospitalization

Following the confirmation of her discharge from the hospital, an unnamed individual with knowledge of the matter told CNN Thursday that Madonna is already "in the clear" and recuperating at her New York City residence.

According to the source, she already feels better but continues to rest as part of her doctors' orders.

Madonna's manager, Guy Oseary, first confirmed her health ordeal through an Instagram post, in which he also announced Madonna's Celebration Tour postponement.

As of press time, the singer and her team are yet to announce the new dates of her tour. Before her health scare, she was still able to add more dates in the US and Mexico City, which are also expected to be moved due to the upcoming adjustments in her Celebration Tour.
