Perhaps one of the most unique parts of the voice was the idea of celebrity coaches and how they sit on their own chairs, especially during the blind auditions, and pressing a button that could ultimately change a contestant's life.
For so long, we have seen only one celebrity coach making it happen. But after 24 seasons of "The Voice," they finally want to take it up a notch as they finally introduced the first double coach of the whole US franchise.
Grammy-winning country music duo Dan + Shay is becoming part of "The Voice" family in 2024!
Dan + Shay 'The Voice' Season 25
To hype things up for the upcoming Season 25 of "The Voice," Dan + Shay answered one of the most bugging questions of fans right now following the announcement of their arrival to the NBC Lot - are they sharing the same chair?
In an Instagram Video they posted on "The Voice's" account, they clarified things out already.
"People have been asking, 'Is it two chairs? Is it one?'" Shay cleared the air. "It's two chairs, but one button!" prompting Dan to shout "The double chair!"
In many international franchises of the show, the double chair has already been used, but for the US franchise, this would be the first one.
Over to the comment section, fans of the two were excited, now that more people are going to hear how incredible the duo are.
"now even more of the world get to see how hilarious/amazing/wonderful the two of you are!" a fan said.
"Gonna be good!!! Love the Voice will miss Kelly and Blake. But have every confidence this is going to be a good season with you all. Brought some Kelly into that last bit, lol," another commented.
"I have no idea who these two are, but they look fun. The Voice still won't be the same without Blake though," someone posted.

'The Voice' Season 25
As of this writing, it was confirmed that Dan + Shay will be joining Reba McEntire for the judge lineup. Chance The Rapper will also be returning and so does John Legend.
However, it should be noted that the next season to be aired is Season 24, which would feature McEntire on her first season as a coach, along with the return of Gwen Stefani and John Legend, and current winner Niall Horan.
