Before Kelly Clarkson's up-tempo arrival in the Big Apple for "The Kelly Clarkson Show," she is taking steps towards her self-improvement.
It seems that the "Because of You" singer is investing effort into creating her revenge body ever after Brandon Blackstock departs from her life.
Radar Online has reported that the songstress is taking her newfound single status as an opportunity to get healthy.
It's said that she's already lost 15 pounds and plans to lose 35 more before autumn.
An insider close to her revealed, "She's finally back on a healthy eating plan, and it's starting to show!"
To maintain her healthy lifestyle, Kelly reportedly follows a strict low-carb, and calorie-controlled diet that is packed with protein.
Additionally, when possible, the singer enjoys going on hikes; although soon enough, her mountainous vistas of L.A. will be replaced by cityscapes.
In March of 2022, after filing paperwork two years prior, Kelly Clarkson and Brandon Blackstock agreed to their divorce.
However, it was anything but amicable. To continue her career in entertainment, the "Since U Been Gone" singer made a deal to film her show at Studio 6A located inside NBC Studios at 30 Rockefeller Center in Manhattan.
Despite the contentious nature of their division, the exes eventually arrived at an arrangement.

Kelly was to provide over $1.3 million in compensation as well as a monthly stipend of $115,000 for spousal support and $45,601 for child support until the end of January 2024.
Additionally, they settled on joint custody of their two children - River Rose and Remington Alexander - with them primarily living with Kelly.
Headed east with her family, Kelly Clarkson could find herself paying out more for the father of her kids.
An insider divulged that "When she was living in Los Angeles, Brandon residing in Montana wasn't a big deal for the kids to visit him. Unfortunately, New York City is much farther away."
According to an inside source, Brandon may call for Kelly to pay for his trips to New York City to visit their children.
He could even force her into footing the bill for a hotel stay should he decide on that option - something she is not thrilled about doing but may have no other choice than to do so to dodge a new legal tussle.
