Though Britney Spears usually likes to let her voice be heard, she has yet to decide on narrating the audiobook of her upcoming tell-all.

According to TMZ, the pop star is still deciding whether or not to record "The Woman in Me" - which will reveal all about her life.

Britney appears reserved to read a 288-page book about her life, leading many to speculate why.

One theory is that it may simply be "too much" for her to take on.

As a result, it is said that she and her team are in search of potential candidates who would be willing to record an audio version of her memoir instead.

Britney is in Mexico with her manager Cade Hudson as they assess whether she should accept a proposal as the release of her official book is nearing.

A source believes that it's an important decision for them both, and one that must be made without further delay.

Exploring freedom, fame, motherhood, survival, faith, and hope is at the heart of Britney Spears' deeply moving memoir "The Woman in Me."

As described on its website, it dives into the singer's extraordinary journey - a voyage that reveals her immense strength as one of pop music's most admired figures.

Britney took the title of her memoir from her song "I'm Not a Girl, Not Yet a Woman." In particular, these lines: "I'm not a girl, don't tell me what to believe / I'm just tryin' to find the woman in me."

People Magazine reported Tuesday on the upcoming release of Britney Spear's new book, offering her a unique chance to tell her own story.

Jennifer Bergstrom, senior vice president and publisher at Gallery Books highlighted how "... [Britney's] compelling testimony in open court [about her conservatorship] shook the world, changed laws, and showed her inspiring strength and bravery."

Additionally, there have been several documentaries on Britney that focus on her conservatorship and the #FreeBritney movement - although she was not included in any of them.

Her response to this was expressed in a previous Instagram post that she deleted: "With 4 documentaries released about my last year with people I adore speaking about my past !!"

"Unfortunately, the way my past was portrayed in those documentaries was extremely embarrassing !!! It felt semi-illegal !!!"

Set to make its debut on October 24, "Woman in Me" is an upcoming book for readers.
