In a surprising move, it is reported that after Madonna came down with a serious health scare, causing concern among her friends and family, she has been contacted by Janet Jackson.
The purpose of the contract was reportedly to put an end to their longstanding feud and wish Madonna a speedy recovery.
The 64-year-old "Material Girl" singer is thankfully on the road to recovery following a medical scare that has unfortunately caused delays in her highly anticipated "Celebration" World Tour. Initially scheduled for this weekend, the tour will now begin in October.
It appears as though Madonna's close competitor, Janet has reached out with a caring gesture.
Reports state that after hearing the news of the star's health issues, Janet sent her an encouraging message.
A source said to The Sun: "Janet and Madonna have had their differences in the past, however, they both have a profound admiration for one another since they are two of the biggest artists from their era."

It has been widely speculated that there is a rivalry between Madonna and Janet, despite Madonna having once dated Janet's brother.
Jermain Jackson wrote about Madonna's relationship with Michael Jackson, who sadly passed away in June 2009.
To add to this, it has been said that Janet can relate to touring pressures.
In his memoir titled "You Are Not Alone: Michael: Through a Brother's Eyes," Jermaine wrote that Madonna and Michael had a brief relationship in 1991.
However, during dinner one night, Madonna made the mistake of criticizing Janet - which resulted in the sudden end of their affair.
Word spread to Janet herself, causing tension between both performers.
