It was quite a shocking day for Arianators everywhere as Ariana Grande and her husband of two years, Dalton Gomez has officially separated and are officially heading towards divorce.

The surprising announcement came after Grande was spotted with with her "Wicked" co-star Jonathan Bailey and Andrew Garfield at Wimbledon in London.

According to TMZ, Ariana Grande and Dalton Gomez have broken up since January 2023, and they were already heading toward divorce.

Notably, Grande ditched the wedding ring while at Wimbledon over the weekend, a thing that she has been doing in the past few weeks already.

The outlet also revealed that the ex-couple tried to reconcile a few months back but eventually failed. A direct source to the couple also divulged that the two are officially heading for divorce.

Gomez and Grande's breakup were attributed to their distance because of the latter's busy schedule in filming "Wicked" since December. However, the problems go beyond that and started before that, the source claims.

The two have contacted each other regularly and called each other but their marriage has been described as "kaput."

The date when Ariana Grande and Dalton Gomez broke up seemed to be fuzzy and conflicting because the source claimed that they have already separated in January 2023, but Grande celebrated their anniversary in May 2023, to everyone's confusion.

As of this writing, both Gomez and Grande's representatives have neither denied nor confirmed the news of the breakup.

Ariana Grande's "wicked-ly" charming co-star Jonathan Bailey seemed to have cozied with the former at Wimbledon. The two seemed to be very comfortable sitting and intimately conversing with each other as photographers snapped them.

Bailey plays Grande's love interest in the upcoming movie musical that halted production recently due to the SAG-AFTRA Strike.

A source tells Entertainment Tonight that Ariana Grande and Dalton Gomez tried to make things work but "ultimately they were just not a good fit."

Dalton has been very private and low-key about their relationship with his work colleagues and hasn't been talking a lot about their split," the source added.

Meanwhile, Ariana Grande and Dalton Gomez's breakup seemed to be imminent since both of them have been concerned by their "whirlwind romance and felt their relationship would ultimately be short-lived."

The source also claims that their relationship has been "rocky" and they have trouble seeing each other due to scheduling issues.
