Sources fear that without the two of them addressing their alleged issues soon, there could be a looming threat of divorce on the horizon.
The pressure is mounting for the two lovebirds to confront their difficulties before it is too late.
Once upon a time, these two were practically inextricable. According to one source, some even commented that the duo spent too much time together.
But now, this is no longer true; nowadays it appears obvious that things aren't running as smoothly between them due to their work obligations.
At the start of their relationship, the age gap between Blake and Gwen seemingly caused a stir. After all, he is a 47-year-old country singer whereas she is a 53-year-old rock star from California.
Yet despite that difference in background, they ended up together - although now that the country super star is no longer a judge on NBC's show, there isn't much for them to discuss.
Although the former No Doubt front woman can certainly don a pair of cowboy boots and sing along with Blake, the source revealed that the star isn't quite accustomed to that whole country lifestyle.
While in Oklahoma, it seems as though the singer misses all that Los Angeles has to offer like its amenities and conveniences.

On the other hand, Blake reportedly doesn't seem too comfortable being around large metropolitan cities with their traffic, noise, and crowds.
Gwen Stefani has reportedly been confiding to her inner circle recently, saying that she can sense a shift in the dynamics of her relationship with Blake.
An unnamed source shared that she believes it much more than him and that it's breaking her heart to watch them drift apart without knowing what to do.
It was clear from the beginning how strong their connection was.
At first, sparks seemed to be flying between them, yet it takes two for a successful relationship and Blake has been too caught up with his commitments to take notice.
To make matters worse, on the occasion of their second wedding anniversary, reports indicated that they have been embroiled in constant disputes.
"There is no denying it, Blake and Gwen have differences in their preferences," the source claimed. "For instance, when he tracks mud into the house or leaves a mess behind, she can't help but comment."
"Not to mention her obvious disapproval of his eating habits. It's like she's always trying to get him to diet."
