Celine Dion's sister spoke up about the latest update regarding the singer's health condition following her Stiff-Person Syndrome diagnosis.

Dion decided to cancel the remainder of her world tour after being unable to prepare for it amid her current health battle. While she remains out of the spotlight to focus on her well-being despite the incurable disease, her sister recently gave a positive update regarding the singer's condition nearly a year after the diagnosis.

What Is Celine Dion's Health Status Now?

The 74-year-old "To Love You More" singer's sister, Claudette, took fans' worries away when she recently shared an update regarding the icon's health status. According to her, Dion is "determined" to get better as she works hard to learn how to live and cope with the disease.

She disclosed the newest health update during her appearance on the Canadian TV show, "Bonsior Bonsior," and shared that the singer has been "working hard" amid her tumultuous battle.

"We're crossing our fingers and I'm glad people are concerned," she said, adding, "We are confident that we will succeed. It can't be a story like this."

Dion was diagnosed with the rare disease in 2022, and she only spoke about it in a video announcement in December. Colorectal cancer surgeon at Cedars-Sinai Dr. Zuri Murrell previously told SurvivorNet that people with rare diseases should know the importance of advocating for their own health as they seek answers to the health conditions they have been diagnosed with.

Though Dion has not shared new materials over the past months, she somewhat assured her fans she remains okay by sharing a new post to welcome Kendall Jenner to L'Oréal Paris family Tuesday.

The "Keeping Up With The Kardashians" alum has been tapped to become the new face of the brand and has started to lead its makeup campaigns.

Dion, as a global spokesperson for L'Oréal Paris since 2019, reposted Jenner's photo on her Instagram Story and welcomed her to the family.

Dion told Harper's Bazaar in 2019 how excited she felt to have the chance to use her voice in empowering women after becoming the face of the company's Excellence Hair Color Range.
