Tori Kelly has finally been released from the hospital after being admitted for days. She reportedly fainted due to blood clots found in her body.

However, this did not faze Kelly from releasing her highly-awaited EP, "Tori."

Tori Kelly Blood Clots Health Emergency Timeline

On Jul. 24, 2023, Page Six said that Tori Kelly was in a "really serious" condition after she reportedly collapsed while on a night out with her friends. The "Don't You Worry 'Bout A Thing" singer was transported to Cedars-Sinai Hospital in Los Angeles where she was treated for the medical emergency.

Blood clots were found in Tori Kelly's lungs and legs. Sources close to the scene said that the singer's Blood clots were "really serious" as the singer was "in and out of consciousness" during the whole ordeal.

News and updates at the time were scarce on her health condition. Fans expressed their worry on social media. Most of them have grown extra worried after Tori Kelly's husband posted an Instagram Story.

In an Instagram Story, Andrew Murillo posted an audio clip of Tori Kelly and Justin Bieber's song "Where Do I Fit In."

"When I'm all alone and fear is all I see / Sittin' in the silence with these insecurities / And then you remind me, you're holdin' me tight / And you love me completely, you're always by my side," the clip sang.

Days after that, Murillo posted another update, but this time, it was more optimistic.

"Tori is smiling again and feeling stronger. Not fully out of the woods but we see the sun," he said in another Instagram Story. "Just waiting for a few more answers. Your love and kindness have been overwhelming. Thank you so much!"

Tori Kelly Assures Fans That She's Okay

On Jul. 27, Tori Kelly finally addressed her fans, giving another update on her condition.

"I'm feeling stronger now & hopeful but unfortunately there are still some things to uncover. I'm so grateful for the amazing doctors & nurses who have been looking after me," she said in a handwritten letter posted on Twitter. She even released her new EP, "tori," last Friday, Jul. 28, 2023.

In another update from TMZ on Jul. 31, 2023, Tori Kelly was finally discharged from the hospital.

Reportedly, doctors still could not determine the cause of her blood clots in her legs and lungs but she's feeling better already. The source noted that Tori Kelly will have regular checkups from now on, and emphasized that leaving the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) and the hospital is a huge step for her health and well-being.
