Police in Las Vegas declared that Cardi B would not be subjected to criminal charges stemming from an incident in which she tossed her microphone at a show attendee.

The investigation into the battery accusation against the "WAP" rapper was launched following an altercation with one of her concert-goers who had previously thrown a liquid substance at her.

Videos circulated on social media show Cardi B taking a step back after a cup was thrown in her direction close to the stage.

In the clips, Offset's wife is seen hesitating for a brief moment before throwing the microphone back toward where it came from.

On Monday, the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department received a complaint from a woman saying she had been the victim of a battery. This alleged incident seemed to involve a microphone contacting a member of the audience during an online video.

An investigation has been launched in response to this report.

On Thursday, however, it was officially announced that the investigation had ceased.

"After a thorough review of this case and with the consultation from the Clark County District Attorney's Office, this case has been closed as having insufficient evidence," police told TMZ in a statement.

"No charges will be filed about this case."

Cardi B Microphone Being Sold on eBay

A microphone that made headlines when Cardi B threw it at a fan during a live show has now been listed for auction on eBay.

Since Tuesday, when it was initially offered with an asking price of $500, bids have reached almost $100,000 in what is proving to be an incredibly popular sale.

According to the listing, "Shure Axient digital Mic Cardi B threw at a person."

"Auctioned for charity. If you want a piece of hip hop infamy and what has now become national and world news then please bid whatever you are willing to spend."

When the news of the incident reached him, initially all that concerned Scott was the costly microphone, valued around $1,000.

He revealed to Insider how his primary worry was regarding any harm that had come to it.

With its distinct label and markings, it was simple for him to recognize which microphone had been thrown.

Surprisingly enough, the mic still worked when found.

It wasn't until people began inquiring about purchasing the device or suggesting he put it up for sale that he made a decision- to auction off the mic and donate the proceeds to charity.

Scott expressed his disbelief at the level of attention his offering has attracted, yet he remains uncertain as to whether the bidders are serious in their intentions.

He has declared that he intends to use a portion of the money he earns from selling his old microphone to cover the costs and buy a new one.

The remainder will be divided between two charities of his choice: The Friendship Circle, an organization for Jewish people within the local community, and the Wounded Warrior Project - an act of honor towards those members of his family who are veterans.
