Celine Dion is currently battling her health condition, but fans and other musicians got her back and one of them is Shania Twain who recently offered her love and support to her fellow Canadian artist; check out what she has to say below.

Speaking with Billboard, the "Man! I Feel Like a Woman" songstress said she's a big fan of the chanteuse's voice and she considers her as a very talented entertainer.

"She's a one-of-a-kind, extraordinary vocalist and entertainer," she said.

The country musician then said that she hopes to connect with her in the future. She also reflected on the singer's current medical condition, saying it's going to be difficult and it's horrifying to know that something's preventing her from singing.

"How horrifying it is to think that something is preventing you from singing, or interfering with that joy in your life. So I just pray that she is able to overcome it and she will be up there [on stage] singing for us all again," she added.

Shania Twain Also Suffered From a Medical Condition That Prevented Her From Singing

According to The Independent, Shania Twain also had a medical condition that made her lose her voice in the past.

The musician opened up that she contracted Lyme disease in 2003 and the effects of it on her body were gruesome to the point that she wasn't able to sing.

Initially, she thought it would never affect her singing voice, but it turns out, she was wrong.

"If it's your voice, you go to a voice doctor, but I never thought of going to a neurologist," she said, adding that her vocal cords also had nerve damage.

Twain was able to undergo surgery in the past and she's grateful to sing again even though there were some changes in her voice.

What Happened to Celine Dion?

On the other hand, Celine Dion previously revealed to the world that she was diagnosed with Stiff Person Syndrome, a health condition which prevents her from performing her best.

In May 2023, she announced that her tour will not move forward even though it was already rescheduled in the past.

"It breaks my heart, it's best that we cancel everything until I'm really ready to be back on stage," she said in an announcement.
