Recently, Britney Spears has been able to reach out to her two sons.

The 41-year-old "Toxic" singer had not seen 17-year-old Sean Preston and 16-year-old Jayden for over a year before moving to Hawaii with father Kevin Federline in early August.

Amid wildfires in the islands, their lawyer confirmed that Britney and her sons have been able to make contact once more.

Recently, attorney Mark Kaplan divulged that he had been informed of a conversation between the pop star and her two sons a few weeks ago.

However, he could not comment on whether there had been further communication between Britney and the boys since their relocation to Hawaii.

No response was received from Britney's agents when asked whether she has made any effort to get in touch with her children after the devastating wildfires that have engulfed Hawaii and caused at least 55 deaths on Maui, according to an article published by Page Six.

Released in May, "TMZ Investigates: Britney Spears: Price of Freedom" caused a stir with its revelations - it was said that by the summer of 2022, tensions between Britney and her sons had become so intense that they were no longer responding to her texts.

In August 2022, it was suggested by Kevin Federline's sons Sean and Jayden had decided to avoid spending time with their mother or attending her nuptials with Sam Asghari, which were scheduled for June of that year, owing to the publicity surrounding the termination of her legal guardianship in November 2021.

He said during that time, "It's been tough. It's the most challenging thing I've ever had to do in my life."

In December 2022, Jayden gave an interview to the Daily Mail, revealing his wish for a reunion with his mother. His words were full of love and understanding as he said: "I have so much love for you, and I hope we can talk like this again someday soon."

The lawyer has declared that Britney's boys are distressed over the homes destroyed by the Hawaii wildfires.

Britney's sons relocated to Hawaii on August 1st, just days before when the blazes began devastating Maui, and according to Mark Kaplan, they're not personally affected but there are people in the area that are dying and having their homes destroyed, "so it's very traumatic."

"Right now, everyone is very sad about what's going on with the fires and the casualties, but other than the trauma from that, and they're thrilled to be there."

Kevin's new wife, Victoria Prince, 40, a former backup dancer and volleyball player, landed a new job in Hawaii, which forced the family to make the move to the state.
