Renee Rapp is finally ready to drop her highly anticipated debut album titled "Snow Angel" and has a peculiar way of promoting it in Boston.

According to CBS News, a huge sign that reads "I HATE BOSTON" in all capital letters graced the city's North End, which caused quite a commotion among the city's residents.

Apparently, Rapp had the massive billboard put up there ahead of her upcoming album's release because she has a song called "I Hate Boston."

"It's more fun when people don't know, and are very curious as to why I would do such a thing, and it is to incite fights and arguments. Cause you guys [in Boston] are very good at that, and you love that," she told the news outlet about it.

The song is about a person whom the actress slash singer dated in the past, but her ex is notably not from Boston, according to the report, the word Boston just happened to rhyme with the lyrics she wrote.

The "Too Well" singer dropped "Snow Angel," the lead single and title track of the album, in June, followed by "Talk Too Much" in July.

Renee Rapp Reveals Her Inspiration

The "The Sex Life of College Girls" released her first EP "Everything to Everyone" last year in February, and according to her, the two projects are different from each other thematically.

"I think that a lot of my EP thematically had more of a, 'Oh, no, this is what's happening to me. This is what I'm going through' thing, which is great, but I think that Snow Angel is a bit more resilient and it's a bit more matter of fact and has a little bit more bite," Rapp told People magazine.

She also revealed that the album was inspired by her own experiences with love and life.

"I love relationships. I love so hard. I am very protective of the people that I love. I'm very protective of myself, and all of these situations were taken from relationships that I had, whether they be good or bad," she continued.
