Olivia Rodrigo New Album 2023 'Guts'

The highly-awaited album of Olivia Rodrigo, "Guts," will arrive worldwide on Sep. 8, 2023. This is her sophomore album, the follow-up to the Grammy-winning, commercially successful, and critically-acclaimed debut album, "Sour."

"Sour" debuted atop the Billboard 200 chart and has stayed in the Top 10 for a record-breaking 52 weeks. It was deemed the longest-running debut album in the Top 10 of the 21st century, beating Lady Gaga's "The Fame."

Rodrigo has since released two tracks from the album - "Vampire" and "Bad Idea, Right?"

"Vampire" debuted at the top of the Billboard Hot 100 charts, making her the first artist in history to debut the lead single off her first two albums at the top of the list. Meanwhile, "Bad Idea, Right" is also aiming for a Top 10 debut on the charts this week.

Rodrigo also released the "Guts" tracklist online, which was reported to run around the 39-minute mark, it's five minutes longer than her album "Sour."

  1. "All American Bitch"

  2. "Bad Idea Right?"

  3. "Vampire"

  4. "Lacy"

  5. "Ballad of a Homeschool Girl"

  6. "Making the Bed"

Olivia Rodrigo Tour 2023 Possible Because of 'Guts'?

Speaking to Capital FM, Rodrigo admitted that the possibility of an Olivia Rodrigo Tour is huge.

"Oooh, it's all in the works. I can't say anything yet but I'm so excited to play all these songs in a live show," she revealed. "I wrote this album with a tour in mind, so I think they're all songs I want people to sing in a crowd, so hopefully that's what is achieved."

The last time that Rodrigo went on tour was in 2022 for the "Sour" tour. The concert tour was criticized by some for being very short. This was because Rodrigo already went on the road with such a limited discography.

With a new album coming the way, it could be expected that it could be longer and would include much more songs compared to the first one.

As of this writing, the details for the Olivia Rodrigo tour aren't yet publicized but some speculated that she would embark on an Asian tour as teased in a photo she shared online.
