BTS fans are feeling sentimental and a bit emotional watching the youngest member of the KPOP supergroup turn another year older.

Jungkook turned 26 and as he has done so many times before, he celebrated his special day with his fans online through a livestream.

Fans showered the "Seven" singer with love on the comments as well as on social media platforms, so much so that Jungkook's name was trending on X (formerly known as Twitter).

The KPOP star expressed his gratitude through a heartfelt message: "[...] As time goes by, birthdays don't feel as significant, but because the time you all have given me is so precious, I am writing this to leave a clear mark on this day. But I find that the expressions I can use are somewhat limited, haha."

This year has been monumental for Jungkook as he had just launched his solo career with the release of his chart-topping song "Seven," which also includes an explicit version featuring American rapper Latto.

Elsewhere in his letter, Jungkook talked about being grateful for his loyal and supportive fans, who have brought his name and song atop music charts all over the world.

"Today, just like always, I think I'll say the same things I've said to you all before. I'm just always grateful, and I know that the time we spend together is precious. I know I'm loved. And I love you very much.

"These days, I'm having incredibly happy days. I did have some confidence that things were going well, but still, I'm sure I wouldn't be where I am without you all, hehe."

He reassured fans that he was doing well and encouraged them to "trust and believe" in each other.

To show how much they appreciate the singer, fans all over the world have paid billboards and put up posters of the KPOP star in Taipei, Taiwan, Seoul, South Korea, and other cities, reports say.
