Doja Cat has pranked her fans again after revealing the truth behind her viral neck brace photo. Turns out, it wasn't actually true.

Doja Cat is set to release her highly controversial and hotly-anticipated album, "Scarlet."

Doja Cat Neck Brace Injury

Earlier this week, Doja Cat uploaded a photo of herself in a neck brace.

"I'm fine my neck is fine," she assured fans in the caption. The image has raised concerns among her followers, with many worrying about her actual health condition.

"That's what happens when you crawl around on the ceiling," a fan posted, referencing her "Demons" cover art.

"carrying the industry can be tough," another joked.

"Playing with the devil has consequences," someone commented.

"Get Well Doja," another said.

When Doja Cat attended the Victoria's Secret event earlier this week, Entertainment Tonight spoke to the singer-rapper. The publication asked her what the injury was about and she clarified her condition.

"So, my friend here, my date, my lovely date got whiplash and he takes it off sometimes and I stole it from him. I'm literally fine. Completely fine, my neck is great," she confessed.

Elsewhere during her interview, she also explained her new tattoos which many said to have been misinterpreted especially on social media. Watch the video below.

Doja Cat New Album 'Scarlet'

"Scarlet" is scheduled to be released on Sep. 22, 2023, the same week that Drake is expected to release his new album, "For All The Dogs," which includes collaborations with Nicki Minaj, 21 Savage, and even Bad Bunny.

As for Doja Cat, the first three songs that she released - "Attention," "Paint The Town Red," and "Demons" - were "very different" from the other half of the music that she made in Malibu for just 10 days.

Meanwhile, her song "Paint The Town Red" was projected to peak this coming week on the Billboard Hot 100 chart, which would make it the first No. 1 rap song of 2023. No other rap song has reached No. 1 on the chart since Nicki Minaj's "Super Freaky Girl" in August 2023.

The track achieved a new peak this week at No. 3, falling behind two country hits, "I Remember Everything" by Zach Bryan and Kacey Musgraves, and "Fast Cars" by Luke Combs. It is expected to surpass the two tracks next week to achieve its all-time high.
