Joe Jonas got a little emotional while performing amid his divorce from his estranged wife, Sophie Turner.

Jonas Brothers marked their stop at their Dodger Stadium show in Los Angeles on Saturday, September 9, as part of the group's ongoing tour leg in the U.S. At one point of the concert, the lead singer serenaded his fans with "Hesitate" - the song he wrote for his wife.

Joe Jonas Sheds a Tear During a Performance

A now-viral video on TikTok recorded Jonas' performance of "Hesitate" which he started singing after thanking everyone for the love and support for him and his family.

As he sang the line, a single tear came out of his eye as a sign of the emotional struggles he has been going through.

"Time, time only heals if we work through it now / I promise we'll figure this out," he crooned.

He did not cry again after shedding a tear, but concertgoers said he looked somber throughout the performance as he walked around the stage.

Meanwhile, another fan captured Denise and Kevin Jonas Sr.'s reaction to the song as they watched in the audience. At one point, his mother put her hand over her mouth and shook her head as Jonas started singing the song. Jonas Sr. then held her tight amid the emotional performance.

Jonas also told the crowd at the Saturday night concert not to believe anything that did not come directly from him.

Joe Jonas, Sophie Turner Had Mutually Decided on Breakup

Jonas' performance came after the estranged couple addressed their divorce on Instagram and revealed that they mutually agreed to end their marriage after four years.

"There are many speculative narratives as to why but, truly this is a united decision and we sincerely hope that everyone can respect our wishes for privacy for us and our children," the statement continued.

Meanwhile, the divorce filing submitted by the singer said their union was "irretrievably broken" and that he is seeking "shared parental responsibility" after their split.

According to a Page Six source, the divorce was Jonas' "last resort" despite not wanting to break up his family. However, he had to do it because it was the best move they could do for his daughters.

Jonas and Turner started dating in 2016 and wed in May 2019 after two years of engagement. They share two children together: Willa (who was born in July 2020) and a second baby girl (who arrived in July 2022).
