Ariana Grande will officially say "Thank U, Next" after calling it quits with Dalton Gomez.

Grande and Gomez's split reportedly happened in January, but the news did not surface until early July. According to unnamed insiders, the estranged couple were heading to divorce after their breakup as they failed to reconcile and save their dying marriage.

Ariana Grande, Dalton Gomez File for Divorce Simultaneously

A news outlet confirmed that Grande and Gomez filed for divorce separately on Monday, with the "7 Rings" singer submitting the request through her lawyer, Laura Wasser.

She cited "irreconcilable differences" as the reason for the filing. Meanwhile, Gomez reportedly responded to her filing and submitted his own request for dissolution of marriage the same day.

The estranged couple reportedly worked out everything before going to the courthouse, and the documents confirmed they had a prenup before their separation, dated February 20.

Sources told the same news outlet that the duo took so long to file the divorce papers because they wanted to settle everything and make things smooth-sailing. One insider added that the ex-couple have no hard feelings toward each other and that they "have been really caring and respectful of one another every step of this process."

Grande will have more freedom to date her "Wicked" costar, Ethan Slayer, who also filed for divorce from his wife, Lilly Jay.

Ariana Grande, Dalton Gomez's Relationship

Grande and Gomez's divorce came years after they wed in 2021 in an intimate ceremony attended by less than 20 people.

"It was tiny and intimate - less than 20 people. The room was so happy and full of love," her representative told People at that time. "The couple and both families couldn't be happier."

The singer later confirmed the nuptials on Instagram, captioning it, "5.15.21."

In January, things officially ended between them due to the problems they faced months prior.

"They came to the decision together," an unnamed source said. "They were having problems before January, but they want to remain best friends."

Grande made public appearances over the past months sans wedding ring, sparking split rumors until reports confirmed that things were over between them. For instance, she went to Wimbledon with Andrew Garfield and Jonathan Bailey without wearing her rings.
