BLACKPINK fans are on edge once again as rumors that only one member of the KPOP girl group has renewed her contract with YG Entertainment.

According to reports, Rose is the only member, so far, from BLACKPINK to renew her contract with the South Korean music label and talent agency, but the remaining three-Jennie, Lisa, and Jisoo-are still in the woods.

The controversy regarding BLACKPINK's contract has been going on for over a month now, and fans are getting worried that the they might not even return as a four-membered KPOP girl group anymore.

"I only see the girls coming back as solo artist. Girl bands don't last long and THATS okay,' a fan wrote. "They've worked for most of their life to achieve their dreams and I think sometimes it's okay to step out on your own to showcase yourself fully. Much luck to them all!"

"They have different tastes in music and style," another added. "It's reasonable for them to leave for their own good."

BLACKPINK Disbanding?

According to reports, YG Entertainment and the members are having a hard time coming to an agreement regarding their salaries, as well as group and solo projects.

Word on the street is, the three girls are working on transferring to different companies, while still being part of BLACKPINK and performing group activities for six months of each year.

The girls are focused on different aspects of their careers: Jisoo is reportedly expected to expand her acting career, while Lisa is negotiating for a higher offer from the company.

"BLACKPINK's contract renewal has not been confirmed and is under discussion," their announcement read.

There is not a lot known what is happening behind the scenes, but the label has been adamant that nothing is confirmed yet and that any report published is unfounded.

BLACKPINK Fans Pledge Allegiance to KPOP Girl Group

While there is still a lot of confusion and concern revolving BLACKPINK's contract, fans have decided that their loyalties lie with the four members, and not YG Entertainment.

"Don't have any problem with them changing their agency and still participating in BLACKPINK's activites," a fan wrote. "But I'm disappointed that even after such mistreatment and restrictions from YG, Rosé still renewed with them."

"YG definitely lost it, like why would still have a discussion after the contract is over? Like BLACKPINK is the one making YG money today, yeah some members will leave, YG too slow for the new contract."
