Tory Lanez was reported to have been fearing for his life in State Prison as his celebrity status makes him a direct target for in-jail assault.

But not more than a week since he was transferred to State Prison, Tory had already addressed his fans in a new message.

Tory Lanez Message For Fans From Jail

In an audio recording shared on his Instagram account, Tory Lanez addressed his fans in a new message.

"Ayo umbrellas man, what's good? I'm talking to you live from prison right now. Man, I'm just happy to get out of that county jail," he confessed. "They was hating on a young fly you heard? Had me on 24 hour lockdown, half-sized cell by myself. No windows, no mirrors, ain't even seen himself in a whole year yo."

He added: "But with all them disadvantages against me, my head is always held high man. And I want ya'll to know I'm in great spirits. My drive and my ambition is growing stronger and stronger every day and I'm so proud on how ya'll been moving in my support.

"Man, I know this feels like a scary time but don't be afraid man. This don't spark no fear in my heart at all. In fact, I'm more prepared than ever for the music, the videos, and all the projects you wanted, they all ready to drop so let's just start with the one you want the most The Alone at Prom Deluxe."

Tory Lanez Dropping 'Alone At Prom' Deluxe Album

The new message comes with the arrival of the deluxe edition of his album, "Alone At Prom."

Released in 2021, the album debuted at No. 59 on the Billboard 200 albums chart.

It contained the track "The Color Violet," which has debuted at No. 60 on the Billboard Hot 100 and has since been certified Platinum in the United States by the Recording Industry Association of America.

The album has since received good critical acclaim from critics.

"Alone at Prom's remarkable retro approach not only intertwines harmoniously sung melodies with ethereal, electro-inspired production, but ascends Tory to a higher level than ever below," Our Generation Music said in a review.

Page Six recently reported that Tory Lanez has been fearing for his life as he got transferred to North Kern State Prison in Delano, California.

"He stands in at 5-foot-3, so his size is definitely a setback," the source said. "He is housed with real hardcore criminals, murderers. So he is really hoping that his lawyers will be able to continue to fight for his freedom while still maintaining his innocence. The whole thing is a mess."
