Tori Kelly is back on her feet after being hospitalized a few months back, but the singer shared a health update and explained what really happened to her.
"I actually ended up collapsing one night and they found out that I had blood clots," Kelly revealed during her appearance at "The Jennifer Hudson Show" on Tuesday. "It was really crazy and scary."
She admitted that the health crisis was definitely serious and no joking matter, despite her sunny disposition now.
However, the singer also noted that while she is out of the woods for now, her doctors are still monitoring her and making sure that the scare would not happen again.
"My family was definitely there for me. I had a peace throughout most of it, but I was just kinda confused and wondering what was going on," she continued.
"I thankfully had some amazing doctors who were able to just take care of everything and get me healthy."

Apparently, the singer was so eager to get back on her feet that shortly after being hospitalized, she insisted that she had to return because she had "music scheduled to come out that same week."
For now, though, it seems like Kelly is taking it easy. "It seems like it's a manageable thing now, I feel amazing. They're still monitoring me, but yeah I feel great. I'm back to singing and back to doing my thing. I feel really good, I'm really grateful."

Tori Kelly Returns to Release New Music
Kelly just finished her "Take Control" tour, which began back on Sept. 10 and ended on Sept. 26 in Los Angeles.
She worked really hard not to mess up her schedule following the health scare. "It seems like it's a manageable thing now, I feel amazing. They're still monitoring me, but yeah I feel great. I'm back to singing and back to doing my thing. I feel really good, I'm really grateful.
"Everything happens for a reason but I'm glad I was able to still put out the music," she added.
Kelly, born Victoria Loren Kelly, is a singer-songwriter who rose to prominence through releasing music on YouTube.
She released her debut EP in 2012, "Handmade Songs by Tori Kelly." In 2013, she signed a record deal with Capitol Records and released "Foreword" that same year.
By 2015, she dropped her debut studio album "Unbreakable Smile," which peaked at No. 2 on the Billboard 200.
