Plastic Surgeon Comments on Madonna's New Look

Amid the buzz, aesthetics practitioner Amish Patel sat down for an exclusive interview with The Mirror and explained Madonna's changing face.

The expert highlighted the "Back That Up To The Beat" hitmaker's very full and "overly plump" cheeks.

"A popular treatment trend with celebrities, including Chrissy Teigen, is buccal fat removal, where fat is surgically removed from the face to highlight the bone structure in your face," Patel said. "Madonna also has a snatched jawline, which could possibly indicate surgical procedures."

The skincare expert also issued a warning regarding the risks of such astatic treatments. Still, he said that derma fillers can help volumize cheeks if done by professionals.

Aside from the cheeks, derma fillers can also reportedly be used along the jawline and chin to achieve a more defined appearance.

Meanwhile, the expert praised Madonna's skin for its smooth-looking glow because of her makeup artist. However, the smoother skin texture can also be because of chemical face peels.

Madonna's Face Changes Every Year, Fans Say

The expert explained Madonna's transformation after the public criticized her unrecognizable look.

One fan said, "Why are celebs so afraid of growing old? #Madonna has ruined her face, she used to be so gorgeous. I don't get it. #SayNoToBotox."

"Madonna ruined her face too," another added.

Dr. Barry Weintraub also spoke to the Daily Mail and shared all the possible treatments and surgeries Madonna went through - fillers, lifts, Botox and rhinoplasty, among others.

"You see a flatter, straighter line, which indicates there may be an incision in front of the hairline [to pull up the skin]," the surgeon explained. "Her eyebrows are [also] higher than the position of her brows in 1986, meaning the distance between her eyelashes and her eyebrows is much higher than ours. You see a lot more volume in the upper third of her face."
