After breaching a crucial regulation during her Celebration Tour performance at the O2 Arena on Sunday, Madonna is reportedly facing a £300,000 ($365269 USD) penalty.

The 65-year-old singer was scheduled to end her performance at 10.30 p.m., but it continued until 11 p.m. before ending abruptly, leaving four songs off of her set list.

The show was reportedly cut short because it exceeded the venue's curfew, which stipulates that activities must end no later than 11 p.m. on weekdays and 10.30 p.m. on weekends.

Madonna raised the fever throughout the performance when she took the stage while wearing satin underwear and writhed around with a large group of topless dancers. Fans who missed out on hearing Like A Virgin, B***h I'm Madonna, Holiday, and concert closer Celebration were "gutted."

Madonna still ran over by 30 minutes after cutting her performance short, putting her audience at risk of missing their last tube home. According to The Sun, she might face a total punishment of £300,000 due to the late-running show.

This is as a result of TfL and AEG's curfew regulations, which impose fines of £10,000 per minute. Greenwich Council, meanwhile, has asserted that its midnight curfew was not exceeded and that it has no plans to look into the incident.

Madonna's reps have been contacted by MailOnline for comment. Furious supporters argued that Madonna would have had enough time to finish her two-hour performance if she had taken the stage earlier, rather than waiting until 9 p.m.

After spending up to £1300 on tickets, they aired their annoyance at being "robbed of a finale" on X, now known as Twitter.

Fans yelled, "@Madonna, start a little earlier for your next two shows at The O2!"the devoted followers will feel short changed if you terminate the event early! We all know you breach the rules, therefore if you get in an accident, break the law and pay the penalty!

However, due to curfew, she had to conclude the show early and with rain. #MadonnaCelebrationTour' '@Madonna What a lovely show, despite the fact that she arrived late.

Disappointed that the show was cut short and heartbroken over the conclusion of the Madonna Celebration Tour at the O2 Arena.

The second night of Madonna's #TheCelebrationTour saw her in better shape, happier, more self-assured, and moving a lot more easily, but alas, fans cannot find it in themselves to be completely happy if they feel they did not get their money's worth.

Up until December 6, when she returns to London's O2 Arena for two additional performances, Madonna will be raging on with her Celebration Tour around Europe. The pop icon then departs for North America on December 13 for three performances at Brooklyn's Barclays Center.

Meanwhile, this week's Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart, which lists the most popular songs in the U.S. classified as hip-hop, R&B, or rap, sees Madonna's "Popular" make a tiny improvement. In its eighteenth week on the chart, "Popular" is currently ranked No. 21.

The Weeknd-assisted song "Popular," which also features Playboi Carti, is currently tied for Madonna's longest-running song on the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs list. This frame matches the previous high reached by her hit song "Holiday." Although it lasted 18 weeks in the top 10, that song peaked at No. 25 in January 1984.
