Pink revealed the exact health issue she is suffering from that led to the cancelation of her Trustfall Tour shows.
After the Summer Carnival shows, Pink was scheduled to visit venues in North America but canceled them due to a then-undisclosed health issue. She also postponed her October 17 and 18 in Tacoma, Washington.
Pink Apologizes To Fans After Canceling Shows
On Thursday, October 19, Pink issued a statement on Instagram to apologize to fans and reveal the "family medical issues" that affected her schedule.
The 44-year-old "Just Give Me a Reason" hitmaker disclosed that she had a respiratory infection that contributed to her decision.
"Live Nation is working on new dates to reschedule the shows," she added. "I am very much looking forward to performing in Vancouver and putting on an incredible show for everyone. In the meantime, I wish everyone good health and am sending lots of love."
Pink kicked off her U.S. Trustfall Tour on October 12. Previously, she also canceled her Arlington, Tex. schedule due to a "bad sinus infection."
The "What About Us" singer opened up to Variety in the past, sharing that she had a major setback amid the COVID-19 pandemic when she gained 36 pounds. She also underwent hip surgery and a double disc replacement in her neck.
She soon lost the weight she had gained and felt stronger than ever after her continuous health setbacks. She also had a staph infection, ankle injury and ulcer over the past few years.
Despite those health issues, she was able to maintain her voice and come back to the spotlight.
