Rob Zombie postponed his Las Vegas concert after losing his voice prior to the show.

On Saturday, October 28, Zombie was set to perform at the Bakkt Theater at Planet Hollywood Resort And Casino in Las Vegas, Nev. as part of his three-date "Halloween Hootenanny." He launched the shows with Alice Cooper.

However, he did not push through with his show due to a health-related issue.

Why Did Rob Zombie Cancel His Show?

In a statement on social media, Zombie revealed that he lost his voice due to laryngitis.

"I am so bummed to announce this, but I have no voice. Zero," he said. "I tried sound checking but couldn't get any sound out. Not the Halloween extravaganza I was looking forward to. It kills me to cancel this show. So sorry."

Zombie and Cooper launched the "Freaks On Parade" 2023 tour on August 24 at Dos Equis Pavilion in Dallas, Tex.

Although Zombie canceled his appearance, he hyped fans in May when he told "Howie Mandel Does Stuff" that he began working on his next studio album.

It will serve as a follow-up to his seventh studio album, "The Lunar Injection Kool Aid Eclipse Conspiracy," which was released in March 2021.

How Rob Zombie Creates His Album

In the same interview, Zombie answered the question about how he makes his albums.

"Usually it starts with just me and the producer coming up with ideas, mapping out rough ideas. And then the band will start, 'I've got this idea. And this idea...' I haven't stood in a room with a band and jammed on ideas since the early '90s. 'Cause I just always found that to be really draining," he said.

He has yet to confirm the release date of his next album, but he revealed that they have a ton of ideas and expressed his desire to drop it by next summer.

Zombie's band lost John 5, who has since joined Motley Crue as a replacement for the band's founding guitarist Mick Mars, who sued his former bandmates for not including him amid his health battles.

Meanwhile, Mike Riggs replaced the guitarist in Zombie's band as they perform alongside bassist Piggy D. and Ginger Fish.
