Celine Dion's sister set the record straight as to whether the singer started using a wheelchair amid her stiff person syndrome battle.

Celine's family did not share further updates about the singer's status after revealing that they were having a hard time finding an effective drug and treatment to help her in her fight against the cruel disease.

After previously sparking concerns for allegedly using a wheelchair, a new update came out as videos of other stiff-person syndrome sufferers also emerged.

Where Is Celine Dion Now?

Celine's sister Claudette Dion recently dismissed the claims that the 55-year-old "To Love You More" hitmaker can no longer walk due to the rare neurological disorder. The disease affects the patients' mobility as it can leave them struggling to move, walk, and talk.

In her interview with the French-language site showbizz.net, Claudette said Celine is morally and mentally strong and not depressed amid her debilitating health condition.

"She really has the joy of living. We will get through this," she continued. "Why do they say she is in a wheelchair? Why do they say she had cancer? Why are you inventing?"

Some of the videos sparked different rumors over the past months, including one clip with the title, "Celine Dion's Family Reveals How She Is Dying," claiming that her health issue was progressing quickly.

Previously, a viral video also claimed that Dion attended her son's wedding in a wheelchair. However, media outlets, including Reuters, have since debunked the rumors.

On the other hand, some stiff person syndrome patients have been open about their everyday lives by posting updates on their social media pages.

One sufferer named Chelsea Lawrence revealed that she sustained six years of agonizing pain before she was officially diagnosed with the stiff person syndrome.
