A few days ago, rumors started circulating online that Matty Healy already proposed to his girlfriend, model Gabbriette Bechtel, and are set to get married soon.

However, the truth finally came out as Page Six recently confirmed in a report that The 1975 frontman will not tie the knot in the near future.

According to an insider, the rumors and speculations about the couple's engagement are "completely false."

It all began when the model was spotted with a large stone ring on her left ring finger when they were seen in an outing in New York City earlier this week.

The rumors further circulated when the celebrity gossip page Deuxmoi shared an anonymous tip, saying: "not sure if you already posted about it or not but matty healy and gabriette are engaged."

Who is Gabbriette Bechtel?

Matty Healy's current girlfriend is a jack of all trades because not only she's a successful model, but she's also a musician, an influencer on social media, and an online chef who constantly shares recipes with her followers.

According to Russh, the model was born in California. She's currently 26 years old and has over half a million followers on Instagram and more than 300,000 supporters on TikTok.

She used to be involved with the band called Nasty Cherry as their frontwoman. Her bandmates were Chloe Chaidez as guitarist, Debbie Knox-Hewson as drummer, and Georgia Somary as bassist.

The recent romance comes a few months after Matty Healy was linked to Taylor Swift as they were spotted together hanging out at a private club.

The 1975 frontman even attended a few of her "The Eras Tour" shows in the United States. At one moment, he performed as a supporting act along with Phoebe Bridgers.

However, their romance didn't last as they only reportedly dated for over a month.

Their relationship was controversial as many fans of Swift weren't in favor of Healy due to his previous controversies.
