Dua Lipa has revealed that she is embarking on a new musical era. With the introduction of her latest single, "Houdini," Lipa has spoken more about how the magic of fame has impacted her everyday life.

Not only that, the Grammy-winning artist also talks at length about how frustrating it is to have her music leaked online way before it is actually released officially.

Dua Lipa's Fame Doesn't Affect Her Daily Life

Speaking to KISS FM, Dua Lipa confessed that when she first experienced fame, she was "so upset all the time."

When she released her 2017 self-titled debut album, Lipa said that she was left "miserable" during the promotion after "spreading herself too thin.

"There were so many moments, I think, when I first started when I was just in back-to-back-to-back, like, constant photo shoots, traveling and doing performances and not wanting to miss any opportunities - especially in America - when I was doing late-night TV or breakfast telly or whatever," she went on to say.

But despite her global fame, Lipa has been a wanderlust - exploring various parts of the world on vacation. But despite this, she reveals that she still strikes a balance between anonymity and fame.

"I have a duality with my life. Work is extraordinary and crazy and insane. I get to have all these amazing experiences and when I'm at home, especially in London, I can walk down the street, I can go to the shops. I can go bowling, I don't really like bowling, but I could go if I wanted to!" she revealed.

Although many thought that the superstar life can be drowning, for Lipa, it's what makes everything normal.

"There might be the odd person who comes up to say 'It's nice to meet you, can we have a picture', but it's really not intense and it's not overwhelming," she added.

Dua Lipa Gets Candid On Song Leaks

As Dua Lipa explains her process of filtering and figuring out which songs to release or not, the interview host expressed interest in hearing the rejected songs of the singer because she likes her music so much.

However, Lipa shot it down.

"I can't," Dua simply said. "That's the thing about when songs get leaked, songs that were never meant to come out get leaked, because it's such a big part of your process while you're figuring it out and you're going through all the really bad ideas and then all of a sudden people hear that and you're like, 'that's not me! It's me figuring out me.'"
