According to Dua Lipa, her next album will be about dating and determining if a partner is "real or not."

Is she speaking about her own romantic wishes?

The singer, 28, was previously involved with Anwar Hadid and has been seeing 42-year-old Romain Gavras since the beginning of the year.

She explained on US radio, "It's more the different feelings and emotions you have throughout the period of being single. It's also understanding. You understand what you want and what you need and what you deserve."

She then also said, "It goes from the phase of figuring out singledom into potentially a new relationship."

With her breakthrough album, "Dua Lipa," and her most recent album, "Future Nostalgia," which recently topped 10 billion streams, Dua became well-known.

It is said that she is completing her "extremely personal third album." In between dates on her global tour, the pop sensation has logged hundreds of hours in the recording studio.

Before the end of 2023, Dua intends to release new music, and her record business executives are working ferociously to safeguard the recordings for the eagerly awaited album after a song she co-wrote with Pharrell Williams was leaked.

A music insider explained to The Sun, "Dua's third album is really personal to her and she has been hands on at every turn. She has spent hundreds of hours in the studio and has written on every song - that is really important to her."

"Dua has been very clear about her direction in keeping it upbeat and fun, but she will be a lot more revealing in her lyrics," the insider added.

As "talented artists" have been requesting to collaborate with her, the insider also alluded to possible collaborations on the album. "It has a lyrical theme, more so than sonically," Dua stated in an interview with the journal last month.

"There's still a sonic element as you go through it, it's still pop. I still want to dance and do another crazy tour," she added. "It's a bit more mature [than Future Nostalgia] I think in terms of the experiences," she also said.

Dua's second album was delayed by one week due to internet leaks, and it was finally published in March 2020. There are thirteen tracks on the album, including the well-known songs "Levitating" and "Don't Start Now," which Dua is being sued for right now.

She achieved great success with her 2020 hit, but a group by the name of Artikal Sound System is attempting to recoup the earnings from the song, claiming she plagiarized their 2017 reggae hit Live Your Life.

The band believes Dua and her crew heard their music and created a carbon copy in Levitating, according to documents acquired by TMZ.

The two songs sound similar, especially the choruses, albeit they haven't said in the lawsuit why they believe that to be the case.
