Jamie Lynn Spears, a contestant on "I'm A Celeb" and Britney's younger sister has not had an easy time in the jungle.
She missed her children so much that she even threatened to leave after only three days of being there.
Now, one former campmate has exposed how ITV might have planned to make sure Jamie stuck around, though it didn't turn out as expected.
In 2014, Jake Quickenden shared his experience of coming in as runner-up on the show. He revealed that production offered celebs the chance to win their luxury items to appease Jamie Lynn, who was particularly homesick for her children.
The plans of the American actress quickly unraveled due to her fellow campmates failing a challenge and leaving the item untapped.
An Advice
This left her in tears, and she considered parting ways with camp so soon. Jake commented on this unusually early departure, per the Daily Mail, "The last thing you want is someone leaving on day three, but it did seem early for the luxury items."
"You are waiting until the end might be better, as it will give you that extra boost when you get the letter from home."
"You can get your luxury item and suddenly have this wonderful feeling of having a little bit of indulgence during this difficult time. Therefore, waiting until after a week could be more beneficial than expecting it after four days."

Does Jamie Lynn Know?
The recent episode, Jamie Lynn's emotional display left viewers wondering if the single mother, who has two daughters Maddie and Ivy, was aware of what show she had signed up for.
This prompted one individual to take to X, formerly known as Twitter, to ask: "Has Jamie Lynn ever seen this show before?"
An individual remarked: "Jamie Lynn having a diva moment. Why bother appearing on the show if she can't handle not being close to her children?"
Another person added: "If Jamie Lynn decides to leave now, she'll have been in the camp for almost the same length of time as I've spent watching commercials!"
This was followed by someone remarking: "Has Jamie Lynn ever watched this show? Does she do anything else except cry? Enough already!"
Turning to a well-known online platform, one user commented: "I don't think Jamie Lynn has ever watched X before," in regard to her distant dynamic with Britney.
Another person chipped in their two cents saying "Oh put a sock in it Jamie Lynn, you're not the only one missing their family. I heard you weren't talking to half of them anyhow."
