Geezer Butler responded to Ozzy Osbourne after the Black Sabbath member lambasted him for lack of communication amid the latter's health battle.

Osbourne has been struggling with health issues that ultimately stopped him from performing temporarily. While he aims to return to the stage soon, he recently said he only has 10 years left to live because of his continuous struggles.

Ozzy Osbourne Calls Out Geezer Butler

Although the Prince of Darkness receives all the support he needs from his family and fans, he revealed to Rolling Stone UK that Butler never contacted him.

"You do find out who's a genuine friend when you've been through what I've had," he said. "Tony Iommi has been so supportive of me since my illness. Geezer Butler hasn't given me one f*** phone call. Not one f------s call."

Osbourne added that he always called Butler when his son was born, even on the days he thought they were at war. Black Sabbath's drummer, Bill Ward, has also been in touch with the rocker.

He also noted the reports that their wives had a fallout, but he clarified that it had nothing to do with him.

Following Osbourne's interview, Butler took to his Instagram and shared the other side of the story.

According to Butler, he attempted to keep in touch with his bandmate twice: first in February 2019 and last in January 2020.

"I don't want to engage in a tit for tat. Having made 2 attempts to wish Ozzy well , without a reply, I figured it best to privately keep him in my thoughts," he went on.

Osbourne has yet to respond to Butler's post.

Why Ozzy Osbourne and Geezer Butler Are No Longer Talking Revealed

The recent exchange came after Butler revealed in his book that he and Osbourne "are fine" but are ruled by their wives. He also told Ultimate Classic Rock and Culture that it might be impossible for them to reconnect because of their partners, though he insisted they did not experience a fallout.

"You have terrible arguments, you fall out and you come back together. But he's always there. He always is. I hope he is after this book as well," he went on. "I still love Bill [Ward], but he's not on the internet. If you want to talk to Bill, you have to email his wife and she has to tell him. It's really awkward."
